An exquisite 19th century Portuguese embroidered hanging. Worked entirely in couched floss silks. On a vivid fuchsia silk ground. Showing twisting vines flowing from a ribbon holding a basket of fruit, with peacocks, fruits and flowers hanging off the branches. In very good condition.
